Styrene butadiene rubber is the most widely used synthetic rubber. It is produced in 2 types: Emulsion SBR and Solution SBR. It is used as a substitute for natural rubber in many applications. Although its mechanical properties are not as good as natural rubber, it can be mixed more quickly and easily.

Carbon black is a fine black powder consisting of elemental carbon, primarily produced through the incomplete combustion or thermal decomposition of hydrocarbons. It is widely used in various industries, including rubber manufacturing, plastics, inks, and coatings. Carbon black is valued for its ability to enhance the properties of materials and provide coloration.

Butyl rubber, sometimes just called butyl , is a synthetic rubber, a copolymer of isobutylene with isoprene. The abbreviation IIR stands for isobutylene isoprene rubber. Butyl rubber is produced by polymerization of about 98% of isobutylene with about 2% of isoprene. Polyisobutylene is a colorless to light yellow viscoelastic material. It is generally odorless and tasteless, though it may exhibit a slight characteristic odor.

Isoprene rubber is produced synthetically using the same chemical formula to replace natural rubber. IR, which has the characteristics of natural rubber, has the advantages of being odorless, homogeneous, and easier to break down and mix compared to natural rubber. On the other hand, its adhesion and filler acceptance are weaker compared to natural rubber.

Nitrile rubber is a copolymer made from acrylonitrile and butadiene monomers. This type of synthetic rubber is widely used in industrial applications and in the production of personal protective equipment due to its high resistance properties and resistance to various chemicals.
